My great friend Chad is leaving what he knows to embark on an incredible journey. I ask that you just take the time to read about what he is doing. If you can help, that is wonderful, but the awareness of what is going on is all I ask of us all.
thank you, Chads’ words are below:
Hey friends! Come January I am embarking on an adventure with the non-profit Invisible Children which is an organization that is helping to end a 23 year long war going on in northern Uganda. I have the opportunity to be a roadie on their Spring 2009 tour in which I will be traveling through Mexico with a group of people advocating for the people of Uganda. We will be showing a recent film that Invisible Children has made and getting people involved. Throughout this war a rebel army has abducted thousands of children forcing them to fight or be used as sex slaves. Millions of people have been forced to live displacement camps where conditions are terrible. Invisible Children is all about solidarity with these people and using that support to provide education, jobs and relief to them. The goal is to find freedom from the oppression and to help these Ugandans live to their full potential.
I need your help. This is an unpaid position and I have to raise money to cover my food costs. I need to raise $1500 bones and if you could give anything at all it would help tremendously. I set up a Paypal account to make it easy to give. Or you can send a check, with my name on the memo line to:

If you can’t give it’s all good and I can relate and understand. If anything check www.invisiblechildren.com to learn more about what is going on. If you are able to help me out, please click the link below. You will be referred to Paypal, and can fill in any donation amount you want. You don’t have to own a Paypal account. Look for the ‘continue’ link on the left side to use your credit/debit card without signing up for Paypal.
Hope you are all well and enjoying life. Pura Vida.
